Glad to see a place pop up for cafe racers AND hot rodders to B.S.

I just started building a KZ750 Cafe - kinda tough since I guess no one uses the 81 as a cafe racer. I'm handmaking a lot of parts (my first try) so it should be interesting...

Thanks for this place Ryan!

Hey Dustin, are you the same guy who posted the pics of the Kawasaki cafe racer on the kzrider.com message board?

Something warped in a cool way about those sketches, in a good way. Almost as warped as huggin a fatboy named ElPolacko at 2 am on the back of a Trump as you swear Toad just flagged you off with a flashlight in a totally drunk but hetero way. I have vision for my old CB, kinda like fusion quisine, it will blend old with new, in my own manner. I dont want a formula unless it makes a bike that handles like my Pinarello at 50mph on a twisty switchback.

The new house project is looming and engulfing me. The light at the end of the tunnel is my Model A and this old 4cylinder bike.

I know. thats why I like it! haha.

Nah, I just got a sweet deal on one, too good of a deal to pass up. Plus, Im sick of paying $80+ per week in gas getting to the shop and back. And there's no way Im leaving my 67 on the street in Dorchester...

the othe factor was that it's gonna be my commuter bike - my shop is 50 miles from my apartment, so I dont have anywhere to keep a bike here in Boston. I feel more comfortable leaving an 05 on the street than I do my 67 triumph...

Plus, it's a fun ass bike to ride!
i've got an '04 that i got a helluva deal on. the a.i. has been removed, it has the fly screen, bar end mirriors and D&D mufflers. it sounds f'ing sweet!

By the way anyone interested, I'm making a buck up to do Dresden style cafe tanks, hopefully this winter. I'm sick of seeing 700 for a gas tank. Probably be Stainless instead of alloy, as alloy dents to easy, too.
i'm interested!

Irritant and Truth - I'm figuring on getting one done Sept or Oct. Right now, I'm neck deep in body work for my CHrysler and wedding stuff. But I'll keep you updated.
