For the lower oil tank, battery box, and inner primary mounting tabs, I made them out of cymbal stand legs

The backing plate spacer and rear wheel spacer is done. Gas tanks should be on the bike tomorrow, if all goes well we will fire it up this weekend! I plan on riding it around a for a few weeks then take the tanks & fender off for paint.

Thank you Jaws. Thanks Dan, Here is a pic of it. I seen them while shopping for a battery and went for it before getting the battery, I just did a search for them & it looks like the price went up a bit... same with the battery....

Thank you Fred. I've been trying to dial in the girders shackles & bolt tightness with each ride. My buddy Wino gets credit for naming the bike, some of you might know him from the bands: The Obsessed, Saint Vitus and Spirit Caravan, he was there when Bug Eyes fired up for the first time!

Bug Eyes is much louder now! Yup, different pipes. Chrome fender went back on, the other is ready for paint. Also, I had to put one of the other tanks back on while the BUB's get fixed due to a leak... good thing it didn't get any paint yet.

^^ Thanks again guys. I've come to the conclusion that bug eyes needs a dampner up front so I started gathering parts! Tabs need to be welded back on the lower shackles and sides... more fun to be had!
