Girder is nice, but personally I would have went with the spoty or mustang style tsnks, one of those round oil tanks I see there on the ground, scorpian style seat no puss pad, and yes that rear gender is atrocious.
Add a diffrent fender and a sissy bar or cool fender strut set up and call it good.

However thats me. It's your bike you build it.

BTW turn the puss pad around, it will flow better with the lines.

What a lucky bike to live in a Plymouth household. Mopar or no car!

I picked up this odd chrome 5 inch wide flat fender for the bike. I'm guessing the tabs are for struts or brackets? what do you guys think? I cant decide weather to cut them off or leave them maybe to mount a leather saddlebag or something. The raw fender on the bike now will still get painted with the tank when the time comes...

The fender is mounted & I picked up these HD bags at a fair price, the fender tabs worked good for them. A Flathead would be nice for this bike....

More work on the girder was done with the stem and top nut for safety. The stem is hollow & has threads on the inside as well so it was tapped out for a 9 1/6 x 18 bolt then drilled the top nut for it. I don't want the stem pulling out going down the road.....

Bug Eyes got a 53 motor today! I was told it was found in a basement so we can call it a basement find.... The motor has been gone through and is ready, has solid lifters, I will take some pics soon.
