BugEyes is done & ready for this spring. Went for two small putts today & the girder feels good to go. Without the dampners it was sketchy.... I cant imagine why the previous owner went to do all that work & left them off... While the bike was on the lift some chrome covers found their way on BugEyes. Thank you Mods & everyone here for the documented thread. I will take some full pics soon.

Update: BugEyes started to shift hard into second gear so the trans was pulled & the problem was in the lid, the shift drum was worn and did not have another so it was updated to a fx style that was available at the time. Rode to work today & its shifting good now!

Neat build, and I love the name you gave it. It kinda reminds me of Roberto though, the stabbing robot from Futurama.

That girder!! Yeah dampeners seem a good idea on any sort of springer.. mine is much fun..
