Hi
Just wanted to share these pix of my bike. It's allmost done, I just need to finish the wireing and some other small stuff. Took it for a short ride down the road and I like so far.
Yea I have to work on getting the bluw stuff of the tires, got any suggestions?
About the rear fender it's aluminium and I'm not sure what to do. I could either polish it, or try to have som painter match the old tank paint. It could end up looking like crap if they can't match the color.
oh wow man thats one beautiful bike man, on the tires i always use PURPLE POWER DEGREASER AND A BRASS BRISTLE BRUSH and it will come off easily, just dont let that stuff sit on the chrome rims or it can pit then, but that does take awhile to happen,man.....sweeeeet
Good looking bike.... Its normal practice to clean off the tires with warm soapy water and a sponge BEFORE you mount them on the rims... Hahaha.. Sweet ride though...
I am with sociallydistorted, you will never get that fender painted to match the old tank paint anyway. Polish the rear fender and it will look like a million bucks. Nice bike though, real classy.
