If you delete my thread...

Could you please let me know why? That would be helpful to figure out why if was deleted. Just deleting a thread with no explanation is pretty dumb. I understand the mods probably delete a lot of spam and such, but I had a reasonable question and it just disappears...

i hear you. i had one of my deleted about a oif triumph frame with no explanation either. i even looked the question up before i posted it to make sure it wasnt already up by someone else.

I started a thread yesterday morning about the correct or best gear box for my 54 bike. I did search and search before posting with no luck. So It would be a useful thread. I did get a couple replies before it disappeared.

To add to this , if someone deletes your thread or post it's because one of the moderators or site owners decided it wasn't appropriate for whatever reason .

If your thread was deleted , just try to deal with it and forget about why . Don't stew on it and get all riled up thinking " they're out to get me " . There's no reason to have a shit fit and quit in a public spectacle of self loathing . It's just a fucking website after all and no one is going to live or die because they didn't get to talk about some kind of shit or another .

Just know there was a reason and don't take it personally . No one has it out for you . It would take all day to personally interact with every person who had a thread or post deleted , trying to explain , retort , re-explain , re-retort , get yelled at , etc .

If it really is so important that the rest of the world just has to know about it , then by all means let one of us know , but seriously . . . it's not going to end your day if it doesn't get the air time you think it deserves .

Just try to get as much out of it as you can without going crazy .
