Default 50 pan finished "again" need ideas for mids

Bike always goes through changes each season, decided to run a stock length Paughco springer a buddy had laying around. Went with some Biltwell Hi trackers also. There is very little pull back on these bars, similar to the front st cycles stainless I have on my shovel. Looking to remove the floorboards and run a low mid set up. Question is..... anyone run the stock female style straight to the rear floorboard mount coming off the frame?

I run mine off the rear engine mount, fabbed up a 1/2 inch bar and a backing plate and bolted her straight to it. Much more comfy for longer riding.

The lower mids I've seen done in all sorts of ways from fabbing bars off the rear floor mount to desired height and bolting the pegs on..

Hat tip for the wood floor in your garage/shop. Nice. I've tried the speckle finish thing in my NJ garage, but it flakes off where the tires rub, and grinder/lathe chips that rust will stain the floor. It does come off with Spray 9 and elbow grease, but it's a task I'd rather not do.
