Default possibilities with straight pipes or types of mufflers

...hello,
I have straight pipes in my 500 pre unit that sound very good with a lower note too; then I made thinner ones for a 750; its have small trumpets in the tips, but I am thinking that with the shorter con rods (shortest actually regarding the other Triumph models) and the tuning of the engine, the revving would be more than 1000 rpms so may be when cranking the sound could be annoying or strident (a buddy had straight ones without the trumpets and sounded pretty bad in a 78, then he put reverse cone ones and sound good but I do not know about the performance), so I am start to thinking in a way to have a more fatty bass sound.
What are the possibilities out there?

Thanks
