Default Panhead Chopper Restart #2

I've been trying to build this '57 Chopper for about six years now. I've posted the original attempt... and a restart here on Jockey Journal.

After fighting with a few different methods of mounting the rear fender and some other tricky (for me) issues I let the bike sit for a while.. then I moved out of NJ to NC.

The move is about finished and I'm ready to dig back into the build. I sold my daily rider and vowed to not buy another until the Pan is finished.

If there's any JJ members around the Concord NC area please give me a shout. I'd like to know about local shops. I've decided to get some help on the tasks that caused the delay.

Thanks.

The blue tape was on there for almost two years. I peeled a lot of it off once I got the bike down here in NC. Only a few spots I will need to clean off the glue. Most of it okay.

I was doing okay in the summer of 2015. Made the wheel spacers, oil tank mount and a few other parts.

I tried a few different methods of mounting the rear fender. Still haven't got it the way I want it. Bungs are crooked on the fender. I started working on different mounts to the frame.

Then winter hit in NJ.. then my move to NC last May. I was working down here and the bike was still in NJ for most of last summer. It's down with me now and I want to resume.

I've got a lot of money in that thing and have never ridden it. It's time... before I get too old to kick it.
