Someone tell me are the frame numbers marked the same way as motor in the 1970-80's I know that they should be same number I am talking about Harley made some 6's and 9's 3's look different on engine I have a chance to trade on a 1974 FLH and just want to ask someone not envolved.

The numbers on post 1970 H-D's are Angler, almost like triangles and so forth, not like the pree 69 numbers at all.....

And the motor numbers should match the frame, H4 for 1974

On Knuckleheadworks web-site shows the stamps and a plate with the stamped #'s on it....Same as what your Sportie looks like....

Yup, I just wanted to show that they are not stamped evenly, that they are tilted and crooked to one another.

Yes it is, they used the same stamps.
