Kickers were the only option from 1952(K Model) til 1967 and then you could pick kick only, kick/electric or electric only.

Mine's not done yet but it's getting there. Here's it's first incarnation followed by where I am now. Should be finished up next week.

You're going to find that will feel very tippy feeling at low speeds, you should feel that even just pushing it around. I ran mine one season 6 over no rake, kinda got used to it, but it just wasn't right. I added 5 degree raked bearing cups and handling was fine.
Great improvement over first incarnation, think about adding some rake though.

Worn, thanks for the input. I did take it for a quick spin the other day (only about 50 mi) and the handling wasn't anywhere near as different as I was expecting. It did feel tippy turing from a stop. I'm going to see how it feels over the summer. I'll keep the raked cups in mind.

Ive posted this before but there were changes. I also just sold it last week and awaiting the shipping company to pick it up. What a fun bike this one is but building another sporty and had to give somewhere....
