Here's a nice swingarm knuck I took pics of in the eighties, this bike was chosen as Australia's most outstanding custom bike (twice) at the ACME shows which attracted bikes from all over Aussieland ,and its still around .(sorry about the Triumph ,too slack to photoshop the scan.)
This knuckle's first incarnation was actually as a Panhead, and at the time was quoted to be the most beautiful Pan in Australia. It featured in an early Ozbike issue (No. 4?). It then featured a couple of years later as the award winning knuckle shown here. Builder / Owner - none other than Richard Nicholls of Redgrave Motorcycles. If memory serves me right he built the front end and sand casted the front mag wheel.
I really like that one in the middle, I built it a couple of years ago. I sure was nervous when the customer said that he wanted to paint it blue and orange. After it was together i could see why he picked the colors.
Droopy's Knuckle. The more you stare at this bike the more cool shit you see. I guess this is one of chopperdaves photos? Do you have anymore pics of this if your reading this?
