wiring a 3-wire stator to the 2-wire tympanium regulator?

I've searched this but could have missed it, but when wiring a 3 wire stator from a '60 triumph to a tympanium's two yellow wires, which two, of the three wires, from the stator, do you join together to one of the yellows and which one goes solo to the other yellow.

The three wires from the stator are: geen/black, green/yellow, white/green.

Ive looked at the diagrams previously posted but they reference a 2-wire stator.

Thanks in advance, Dan.

I am installing a new (no wiring instructions) aftermarket stator..it also has 3 wires BUT they are red, green, and black.
anyone know what two I need to wire together to my 2 wire regulator?
or do I only use 2 leaving one "capped off"...I dont want to fry this thing

They may not be correct...but those are the wires..getting with the original owner about any info he can offer...all leads have continuity between each other and none go to ground

that stator looks like an early 6 volt un-encapsulated style stator but the wire colors are not the same. All I can say is good luck, you need to do some experimenting with the outputs to figure that out.
