Re: Two Kids On The Salt

Better in the museum than collecting dust in my garage. And, it's only 10 minutes from home. I can visit anytime. :)

Re: Sidecar record at El Mirage

Re: Sidecar record at El Mirage

Beautiful machine work on the wheel Bill. 10% of the bike's weight on the side car? Maybe I shoud build a side car for our little Honda. We'd only need 11lbs on the wheel. :)

Re: Amal alcohol conversion

The 276 remote float Amal on our little Honda is set up to run up to 80% nitro. We started with straight alky in '68, and learned as we went. 3/8" line to the bowl is enough flow for our 100cc motor....

Re: Vintage Fuel Drag Bikes

Same guys, same bike, 41 years later. It is a fueler, and it was also a drag bike. Got the trophy from LIONS on 7/20/69 to prove it.

Re: Vintage Fuel Drag Bikes

Re: Vintage Fuel Drag Bikes

Nitro can be a cruel mistress. I still need to get the little Honda apart and replace the piston we melted in 2010. At least we didn't throw schrapnel at anyone!

Re: Vintage Fuel Drag Bikes
