Re: Two Kids On The Salt
Better in the museum than collecting dust in my garage. And, it's only 10 minutes from home. I can visit anytime. :)

Re: Sidecar record at El Mirage

Re: Amal alcohol conversion
The 276 remote float Amal on our little Honda is set up to run up to 80% nitro. We started with straight alky in '68, and learned as we went. 3/8" line to the bowl is enough flow for our 100cc motor....

Re: Vintage Fuel Drag Bikes
Same guys, same bike, 41 years later. It is a fueler, and it was also a drag bike. Got the trophy from LIONS on 7/20/69 to prove it.

Re: Vintage Fuel Drag Bikes
Upland is only a few miles to the east Joe. Maybe you were thinking of La

Re: Vintage Fuel Drag Bikes
Nitro can be a cruel mistress. I still need to get the little Honda apart and replace the piston we melted in 2010. At least we didn't throw schrapnel at anyone!

The WFI pic is probably '64. Burt ran Bonneville 9 years. I believe it's '64 because the original tail from '62 has been changed, but the hole in the nose Burt cut attempting to get some downforce is...
