First, I'll an Alliance member over on the HAMB.

Back a couple of years ago I sold well over $1,000 of specialized Harley shop tools here.

I have a Sportster rear fender I need to sell here, but I don't have 50 posts to qualify. New rules since last time.

I tried to sell it over on the HAMB and got bounced off.

Any suggestions to sell here? I ain't never gonna' get 50 posts here unless I fabricate a bunch of BS ones.

That's what you have to do sometimes. BS works, in this case anyway.

You have been a member since 2007, maybe you "need" to get involved. If not there are plenty of other resources for selling items out there in the world if you feel the "need"

I don't even own a motorcycle anymore. I hurt myself too often  . Booze and bikes don't mix :o .

I only linked up with this bike stuff 'cause of the "Hot Rods & Harleys" connection.

So, as far as doin' something here, screw it. I gave you folks first shot at whatever I get, but not anymore. Too complicated for my Hot Rod mentality. I'll stay where I belong, over at the HAMB. It's more user friendly. I have like 2,700 posts over there, but doesn't count for squat over here. CraigsList or eBay is next.

What the hell???????? I am sure that we are all hurting deeply inside that we might miss out on a spare sportster fender.....

Hey man,

I'm with ya'. I've got a bunch to go too. It does seem insincere to write a bunch of two-word "atta boy" posts, but they're not really, especially when it's your build people are commenting on.

Suck it up and write some encouraging words. It takes time and real effort to take pictures of a project and post them for the good of the group. Help keep people motivated and contributing. Be a part of what makes this place good.

Regards,

JT

Awefull easy to interact 50 times. If we bent the rules for one we would have chaos.

Cats and dogs, living together, total chaos.

41 times more.

Glad to hear you worked it out!
