Alright I'm leaving for Sturgis August 3rd for the first time. Any clues, hints, or ideas from other people?

I grew up there......click on this link for my own personal guide to the area.....not specifically the rally but rather things to do outside the city.

If I had one suggestion, find out when the party in Beulah WY is....this a little town just acroos the border and somepoint during the week they have an OLD School style biker party.....must DO!!!

expect to pay an arm and leg for gas the closer you get to Sturgis. my friend went last year (my project bike has been a project for a while) and they said they were paying upwards of $5 a gal! now, prices in general have gone skyward, so bring some extra coin for the tank!

Shit Bro I live in San Diego Where gas is the most expensive in the country.
