resizing pics

i know this question has probably been reviewed before but can someone tell me how to resize pictures so i can post them? i have som pics of my projet as well as some pics of items to sell that i would like to post. thanks

here's a real easy to use tool if you're running XP ..

quick download, once it's installed when you right-click on a pic from your hard-drive, the drop-down menu now has a "resize" button ..

(and you can resize many pix simultaneously by selecting them & holding your 'ctrl' ..)

hit that and there are 3 default sizes .. medium is just right for posting without thumb-nailing .. there's also a "custom" sizing you can specify the size, is good for avatars, for example ..
