Lowering Kit

I have a 1983 Sportster XLX-61 and I am trying to find a lowering kit for it but there seems to be very little aftermarket parts for this year.
Can anyone help me?

I don't know about lowering it, though, I was planning on hardtailing it eventually and will set the ride height then...

Or get a set of short shocks. That's what I did to the wife's 79 sportster.

Shocks and lowering blocks = a nearly rigid ride. Go for it, Mr. Fred. You could always fab some shock replacing rigid struts, if you're feeling frisky.
