New (Events) section idea....

Hello O great keepers of JJ.....what about adding a section for upcoming events, rides, happenings, shows, and what not? Would beat scaning the main board....could help us all to get out and about!!

I've been beating a drum for years, for an 'events' subforum, as the drink-n-ride, show, "who's in _____", xxx magazine release party,etc posts build up & crowd out tech posts on the board....

Bottom line, Ryan wants no new subforums or sections.

We do have the Calendar (http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/calendar.php), if eveyone making an events thread would also make that post on the Calendar, there is also a notation made of each day's (calendar) events on the index page (http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/), right down there by the birthdays...
