Ideas and suggestions!
Please keep them coming.
I have to work with Ryan on some of the requests and that may take a little time, but others I can do myself.
If you registered and have not received a WELCOME email, please PM or email me. hotrodlambretta@yahoo.com
Thanks!

If you are a new member, please do the following, in this order:
1) Introduce yourself on the general board. Include info about your bike(s), your scene, your job, your projects, etc.
2) Read old posts to gain insight regarding what kinds of people and machinery call the Jockey Journal home.
3) Before starting your first new thread, use the search function of this forum to make sure that what you're about to show or ask hasn't already been posted a long time ago by dozens of other new members. This step is critical to avoid negative flaming, redundant posting, repetitive photo submissions, etc.
4) If you've done a thorough search of old threads and you still can't find what you're looking for, start a thread with a headline that makes sense. Good examples of this are, "WANTED: Photos of redneck bikers," or, "Biker event X in LA this weekend: who's going?"
Bad examples of vague thread headings include:
Anybody ever see one of these?
what are you doing this weekend
Hey Chuck, wanna buy my drill press?
etc.
The short, sweet tip to better living on the JJ2 is simply this:
Think twice, write once.
I promised Ryan the JJ2 administrator I'd try to help newbies through the first post fog. I hope this helps. If other senior members have advice for new members, please add them to this thread.
To everyone on the JJ2, thanks for your continued involvement and support.
