Hi All,

I really dig this site. I have been reading it avidly since I found it. I am now starting to TRY to post pictures and comments, and try to post some of my excess vintage bits for sale. I am trying to follow your rules and regs but it is difficult to know what they are. A set of clear of instructions would be very helpful, and I am sure would save you time "deleting" posts. An instruction clearly walking through the For Sale instructions and requirements would save you time and aggro. The stickies are not the most clear instructions...It would also be helpful if there was an instruction on how to post to a thread, how to post pictures, and what the threads are meant to include or not include. For example, who knew that comments are not allowed on the "best Triumph bobbers" thread cuz its a "pic post"? How can I tell when to start a thread? Or even how to start a thread? How do I know how to start a FS thread or when? As I said, I dig this site, and I am just making suggestions to try to make it easier for all to enjoy. Thanks for your support.

The stickies in the classifieds section are pretty clear , I'm not sure what more could be said as far as what you can or cannot do there . . .

As for when and why you should start a thread , I guess that's up to you . There's no rules in that regard . You can start a " for sale " thread anytime of the day or night , for any reason as long as you follow the rules , posted at the top of the section .

Easy enough .

Otherwise , if you make a mistake or post something wrong on any of the boards we'll fix it for you .

It's not that big of a hassle .

Also , I noticed that of the 13 posts you've made so far one was deleted from the classifieds because there was no price ( one of the rules noted in the stickie thread " thread deleted , please read this " as to why a thread gets deleted ) and the other was just clean up of unrelated stuff in a thread .

I'd say you are doing well so far .

If they are read.......but dozens of posts per day are evidence many dont even read the titles of the Stickies.

As for basics of posting, watch this : Posting Help (http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting.php)

Thanks for your replies. Some of us are more technically challenged than most. I do manage a software team, but as part of the pre-blog generation I may need more instructions than others... Anyways, you have me hooked to the Jockey journal, so I will follow the links for instructions and keep trying. I am looking forward to the day when my pile of pre-unit Triumph parts becomes a bike so I can post it... Cheers!
