S&S Fuel line

Can someone give me a clue on something?

I am having fuel supply problems with an S&S Super Carb..... I installed a new fuel line and filter but the line will sit empty and not feed correctly. The cap is vented. Is there something in the carb that could cause this?

What kind of petcock are you using? A factory HD won't supply enough fuel. I'd take the petcock off and check the screen too. Might be clogged.
