why can i not post in the tech section? I was part of a thread about lowering brit forks....got mine done, went to post how/when/why/pics, etc. but you all have denied me access and deleted my prior posts in the thread.

is there yet another rule i have overlooked and broken?

did i offend someone?

am i not qualified to post there?

do you know my qualifications?

seems to me the spirit of what all of us do here is to share experiences, stories, ideas and information, and also to share in the freedom of motorcycle riding and design that we all enjoy. but some users are more free than others when it comes to posting? Huh..

am i missing the point? is this site arranged and organized to feed your egos or improve the image of the people you see fit? basically is it about the moderators and their interests? or is it about the user and their interests?

i certainly hope it is a "by the people, for the people" type situation, not a "talk about what we tell you to talk about, where we tell you to talk about it and if it is not to our liking it will be disposed of" type thing. this is not the first time my posts have been ridiculed by you and/or deleted. i was accused of having some sort of "agenda" when i posted about fenderbender on here a few months back...after doing some homework on that situation, seems to me like the user that had the problems with him was foolish and did not protect himself while also taking advantage of his supplier. he admited not paying, admited not designing the fenders, he was simply a salesman that lost a good product line due to bad business practices.

And believe me I don't mean to rattle your cage or cause any drama, that is why this post is here in the questions to the mod section, not the main board. i just want to know what is up, so i can then decide if i want to participate or not. This site has been a great help to me on numerous occasions, and it has value to me. But lately it has been a mine field as well. So if you care to offer me any insight, or tell me to stick it, feel free. I will not edit, delete, chastise, or disagree with you. I will listen, and make a decision.

Thanks

You seemed determined to be a victim here.....

First, as stated in the Sticky post atop the Tech board, new posts and replies are disabled on that board.
It is an archive.

The only Brit fork thread there was from 2006-3007, well before you signed on.

And you have posts in 3 current board threads about forks (note my search parameters) -

Going back thru all your posts, there have been none about forks or tech deleted, only posts in Classifieds that were comment/discussion type re's (that should have been PMs) and ebay sales, and some on the board arguing about Honda Rebels' exclusion.

There is no conspiracy or oppression going on here, only guidelines clearly posted in sticky threads.
