I would assume this means it was deleted. but Why? I don't want to keep re-posting, so I was curious if it was doe wrong?

It was deleted because it was pretty much a repost of an existing want ad in the classifieds .

Board spam gets deleted pretty much on the spot .

And, read the 'Stickies' on the Board and on the INTRO board...

If you are being deliberately vague (post about "show me how a drum brake goes back together" and "a 16 for a bobber") because your " '80 650 bobber" is a jap 650.... we dont do tech posts, or pic posts, or general discussion....about the jap bikes.

It's clearly posted all over.

I almost knew this was to good to be true. For your own info, I had a Bonnie, and intend to have one again. Sorry for the " deliberate vagueness" as you put it, but I guess in your wisdom you saw right through me. I was just looking for some help about a bike.....not a jap bike, but a bobber that I will be putting together myself...I, buy the way am not japanese either. I am American, which means I will be building a American Bobber. It may have a jap part, but you probably know all about that......you probably drive a jap car. Thanks for the bad impression.

no really , you're encouraged to go anywhere else on the internet that you like , this just isn't a forum for brand new harleys or yama-bobbers .
