options - Following a specific thread ?? Subscribe?? HELP

I find it frustrating to find a thread that may be a couple of days old ??? Is there a way of flagging that thread so I am notified if it has been updated ? I see something called "subscriptions" ??? If this is the tool how do you subscribe to a thread ?
I am brand new at this .....and obviously need some cooaching

Yes, go here - http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions ,
and you can reset the options you were offered when you signed up.

One is for "subscriptions", you probably want the automatic email when a thread you have posted in is replied to.

Likewise it is very handy to have the Private Message notification by email. That way you know of thread or PM activity concerning you without being logged back in.
