I apologize about the yamaha v. triumph thread. Can anyone refer me to a site where I can discuss openly and freely about any motorcycles and there mechanics. I do not like to be shoved into an elitist group (sounds like the yuppy harley riders)? I was just curious about the yamaha bikes, guess that makes me "less of a man".
Thank you for closing that thread before we talked about other bikes.

You haven't been shoved anywhere , you just chose the wrong forum for what you're looking for .
Don't act so hurt , it's only the internet and your ride choice doesn't reflect your manhood , regardless of what your friends might have told you , they're pulling your leg .
I'd suggest trying a google search for what you're trying to find . It will more than likely be full of Yamaha bike owner / builders forums .

This is why there are "Sticky" threads. And this is what happens when people dont read them or disregard them. Sorry for the hurt feelings.
Your (mis-)quotation there is words of the forum owner, by the way.
Google will find many different groups and forums I'm sure.

You might look here. But be forwarned, you might get in trouble trying to talk Harleys or Triumphs on the elitist XS 650 boards.

I have a " jap bike" and a Harley, and I love the Triumphs. It is true, one person can appreciate several bikes. There I came out of the closet......I HAVE A JAP BIKE. Mike and Dragon can cyber-high five now. I'm not afraid to say it. I feel I have made some progress....

I'm not sure why this is such a problem for you .
I have a '56 pan/shovel chopper , I'm buying a 2008 Buell Ulysses street bike and I have a jap bike too , a 1977 KZ 650 and it rules . It's not even a bobber . . .
This isn't a jap bike forum though , so are you just trying to work on a comedy routine or do you have something to actually contribute to the forum that's relevent ?
