View Full Version : I'm confused!!!
I certainly do not want to offend anyone here, and thought knowing a link to a site that had everything for sale was a good idea, and would be helpful to the members..Most are not awear that the site even exsits....Auto, Boats, and RV's are listed there as well...I've seen where Ebay has been recommended in the past as a place to find things, so i thought why not...I scored a new seat in perfect condition for $25.00 pluse $6.00 shipping....Please realize i'm not suggesting listing any items on there, but not to use it would be pretty dumb in my book....
Not mentioning it gives me first shot over the rest of you so if you want to delete it be my guest!!!
Well let the attack begain!!!
Cheers, THC

You sound fruity, weird, and over sensitive. And this thread will certainly be deleted, so lucky you, now you can have all the $25 seats to yourself.

Yet another newb barges in & disregards the clearly-posted Sticky rules threads that say "READ ME FIRST". Then gets a big attitude.
Start over.
First of all i didn't come here to start a pissing match, nor listen to some coward that uses the Interest to trade insults...
I read a post where someone mention that most of the newbies just post on the wanted, or for sale threads...This may be true, but can you blame them.....Most if not all are not qualified to speak on much else...
If this site is about motorcycles and helping each other i didn't break any rules....But what i'm really confused about is the delete post on the WTB 71 frame from another member....I post the where abouts of a 1971 complete Bike, that could be bought for $400.00...Not listed for sale any where...Yet it was delete as well....WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THAT REPLY...
I read the rules and did so before this and the other posts.....You see i can't see the difference between mention that site, or bike and mentioning Earls for an in line oil filter, or MAPS for adjustable tappits....BTW thanks for the heads up on both!!
BTW, i was riding a BSA bobber before most of you were born, and that red truck along with a few other i build have been published in Hot Rod, Street Rod, and CarCraft magizines over the years..I hope it's OK to mention their names??.....I'm just now getting back into Bikes, and soon will have a line of motorcycle items that everyone with a British bike will want. That's a given, an actually i have this group in part to thank....Your "I have a problem threads" are priceless for a person smart enough to understand the NEED!!!.......

You still sound oversensitive and pretty fruity. I doubt the whiny tone of this last post is going to change many minds........
I have no idea what you're talking about, but welcome to the boards?

The WTB post was seeking a transmission from a 500 Triumph. You offer up a complete bike, from a 3rd party. This is also covered in the sticky posts, just like asking someone to part out a listed complete bike, it's an off-topic to the post. So we ask that you respond via PM or Email rather than bumping the thread.
And as also posted, the Classifieds are for listings between individuals, and is no place for Craigs or Ebay.
First of all i didn't come here to start a pissing match, nor listen to some coward that uses the Interest to trade insults...
Please just calm down, take some time, and re-read the Classifieds Stickies.

You cant delete your own thread.
