Stop Replying to pic requests!

Guys this is an ongoing issue that we all need to help remedy.
If a guy asks for a pic request...simpy PM or post encouraging them to use the the search function. Jesus how hard is it to use the search or check the sticky at the top of the board to find what your looking for.

In many cases youre right, such as "pics of clean sportster handlebars", or "swingarm bikes with sprung solos". However, some pic requests I think are acceptable. Awhile ago i requested 80's-90's choppers, like Easyriders from that era. I thought it was a broad spectrum that could be covered pretty well, since there were no threads already started like that. Unfortunantly, it brought up no results. Anyways, as much as I hate adding more rules, the board has flaked out on so many (ie. 50 posts prior to using classifieds. which should be brought back!), I think we could make a small rule that allows good pic requests threads, such as the ridiculously badass Pan thread, but discourage others, like the ones previously stated. I think we would all benefit from pointless threads knocking down good ones, which happens all the time. My thoughts.

That's where you're wrong Trent . They get moved / locked because they are either in the wrong part of the forum , or tun into big bitch fests that end up with a few idiots complaining about how the ' mods are assholes and thsi place is gay " , which after a while serves little purpose .

You may not believe it , but everyone I know on this forum ( myself included ) have a lot of respect for what you have to say and it is felt and shared by most of the addmin / mods on here . They anren't moved or shit down due to a personal vendetta .

You haven't tried to help , you do help , a lot . From what I understand you just leave a little bit of a mess now and then that needs cleaned up . I wouldn't take it personally .

You're one of a handful of people ( who haven't run off to complain about it alone in a corner somewhere ) that continually build bikes that are awesome , and generally have some pretty smart shit to share with the rest of us .

I'm personally glad you stay around and complain out loud because that's the kind of shit that helps effect change and direct this board in a positive way .
