Updated classifieds laws ??? Whats the rules

Well i have have been busted twice in the last week for posting an ontopic reply to wtb adds and such, i also see other replies then they are gone the next time you look. So i guess you cant talk about your parts but then you got all the new people selling bull shit on here that are bumping three and for times and driving the better stuff down . . I guess i missed the meeting on the change. . . So provide a link so i can get it all straight !!!

Im not complaning just wanna no the exact rules so i dont continue to get in trouble.

The "new guys" are not constantly bumping stuff up pushing yours down, I spend a great deal of time reading every new post on Classifieds and everyone is kept in compliance with the bump rule, new and old.

There are three 'Sticky' threads atop every Classified page detailing the posting guidelines. Please read them.

And please read them again.

Looking back at your post history in the past couple months, you have had numerous posts deleted for clearly-posted rules.

3 for 'sold-bumps'.
1 for bumping early by adding pix rather than editing into first post.
2 for pic requests.
3 for non-buyer commentary to others' threads and bumping old threads rather than PM'ing.
2 for posting ebay or vendor links.

Then there was this little gem after you prolonged a thread with chit-chat with a buddy you sold to -

But your biggest shortcoming is failing to begin the title of you thread with FS WTB WTT. And you post a LOT of threads, so that makes for a lot of manual-editing, on every one of them.




The Classifieds are working better than they used to but it does take a lot of attention. I'm just glad to be able to help and to have been a part of the Classifieds getting opened back up for our use, after they were closed down last summer.

Many new guys dont read or follow the rules but they are contacted via PM after repeated problems, same with the long-timers who choose to 'do it their own way'.


I do appreciate those who do make the efforts to comply with the guidelines, and those who pm me with issues and questions. It really does help in "the greater good" of this place.
