I look over Craigslist for my area a lot, and often see stuff that may be interesting to folks here at the JJ, but not to me personally. Or, I may not have ready cash to swoop on a good find. It's not anything I have anything to do with, but just thought it might be cool to pass on. Is there a way this could be done?

Those types of posts are generally removed from the Board, along with "what's it worth" market-survey type posts.

Ryan has told us he "doesnt want a sales site"....and as such our Classifieds and Vendor area have strict guidelines for member-use.

Really, who doesnt know to check craigs and ebay for local shopping......besides, the focus here is on building current projects, and on the history of vintage and period bikes. Calling attention to a locally-listed bargain takes space away from the potential the world-wide membership gets from this place.

re "What's it worth".....learn to search closed ebay listings for current-market value on bikes and parts.
