Can't Get More Than 20 Threads Per Page

Been in my profile settings, changed to 30 posts per page, 40 posts per page - nothing changes - still only get default 20. I've tried clearing my cache, deleting cookies, you name it - been like this since I signed up, but figured I'd ask before I gave up completely....

are you talking threads or posts? 30 posts per page means you'll get 30 posts in one thread. i don't believe you can change how many threads are shown though.

Just so we're using the same words - Within each forum, there is a list of threads. Inside the threads are individual posts. (For example, this is post #3 in my thread titled "Can't Get More Than 20 Threads Per Page" inside the Questions & Suggestions Forum"

I'm talking max threads per page. I can change it just fine over on JalopyJournal, but I can't seem to get it to change here - I can change the number, but nothing happens.

The number of threads on the index page wont change.

The changeable option is for posts per page of a thread.
