I got a chain tensioner from TF, came pretty quick, it is awesome quality and one of the nicest pieces i put on my bike
Hey Vegas,
Forgive me for asking, but shouldn't a tensioner adjust north and south to eliminate chain slack? Having a hard time following how a tensioner running parallel to the chain is boing to have any effect.
vegas
03-31-2009, 02:59 PM
those are really bad pictures...the frame is resting on the chainstays, they run in a up hill dirrection, northeast, if you will...
sorry for the shitty pic but you can see how the chainstays are at like a 30deg angle
Normally the mount would be attached on the lower frame rail, with the cut angle of the mount declining from left to right, or from the axle towards the trans. This would leave the setup in a north/south position, but I pick up what your putting down.

These will be up for sale as soon as I test ride and verify no leaks. I may just sell the aluminum piece and have the buyers supply the brass. I am working on getting a supplier for the brass. I will post up soon.
