I'm not too sure how it would work, but is there any sort of multi-member live JJ chat thing? Not talking about an instant message or anything....hope you know what I mean. I think it would be fun as hell.
Thanks,
Johnny

Every one could meet in a yahoo chat room but others could jump and and before long it woud be flooded with those "See my Website" ads. A private chat room could be bought I think they cost $125 a year for the basic and go up from there but it is private. Each member could be given a password to keep out the problems. The Mod. will have the power to remove problem members from the chatroom either for a period of time or forever.

Java software would be needed. Of course I am sure there is chatroom idea that I have never heard of before.

it's all about IRC. free, open source, full control.

mIRC has a good relay chat program.

See all the other threads on this page about splitting forums up.....or Tshirts or an Alliance. I doubt any new resource is gonna happen.

The board is a chatroom......and if you enable pop-up notifications, PMs can work about as fast as instant-messaging.

If the people that want to meet up in a chat room would set one up and post the link that would solve the problem...I am unsure if there is really enough call for one or not...but I could be wrong.

Hehe......Chris Mathews would be on our chatroom in no time!
I'll check into IRC and get back to this thread with what I find. Let me know if it would be a problem, but I figure those who don't want to participate wouldn't.
