yesterday was my daughters first motorcycle race!

She competed in the Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Series, www.vchss.org/(kinda like enduro racing). The event was held in Dahlgren Va., on the Va. side of the Potomac Rvr (about an hour from Casa Laguna)

She didn't place well, dropped the bike three times and was discouraged and exhausted at the end....and I couldn't be more proud of her.

As I'm still nursing the injuries from ME dropping my bike, her brother acted as pit crew/load manager and all around helper...

It was a pleasant respite and diversion from the past week....and I think I enjoyed more than my daughter

fuck it she didnt place well,,,ya gotta give her credit for tryin...shes got more balls then most.Id be proud too if it was my daughter!!!

Man that is awesome!! I really wish I had parents that were into this kind of stuff when I was growing up, definately looks like a total blast for the whole family!.. She is a lucky child there!!

that's great!!! keep after her to keep trying. she'll only get better with each time. i can't wait until my daughter is able to start learning to ride. it's gonna be a hoot! i used to race flat track and it was a blast. i gotta get my daughter into that!
