Hey guys,
I just finished up a batch of these new "Mordor" exhaust tips. They are fabricated in mild steel and triple chrome plated. They will slip into the ends of any standard 1.75" exhaust tube.
They will be up on my website later today:

$89 each, call me for special pricing for a pair for folks on this board or chopperweb.net (831.406.0126)

Hey Guys,
I'm introducing a new taillight today, it's on my website here: http://www.crimescenechoppers.com/store/show_by_tags/Lighting]crimescenechoppers.com (http://www.crimescenechoppers.com/store/show_by_tags/Lighting%5Dcrimescenechoppers.com)
This is the first in a new line of parts we're doing called "Rapide". The parts will all feature the same styling cues, a cool vertical grill and raised scallops in the body. All of these are available it two different finishes, either satin aluminum with a polished brass grill or all chrome.
The taillight uses a 48 (!) LED lamp that is killer bright, but the taillight itself is small, just over 2". It comes with a chrome 3-bolt fender mount, or an optional chrome sidemount.

Forgot to mention, free shipping for JJers on these!
We're doing a chrome sidemount bracket as an option, working on an axle mount one too. If you want a non-chrome version we can do that a bit cheaper.

Nice work there, I like the brass cover. Do you do your own casting work?

Thanks!
I have in the past, but currently I work with a commercial foundry to produce the raw castings. I do all of the machining, polishing, detailing, etc. in house. It just isn't cost effective to do the foundry work in house. We also heat treat the parts and cast parts in several different alloys (2 different aluminums, 2 different brass and 2 different stainless).
The foundry has specialized degassing and core production facilities (many of the parts use a core). Plus some of the parts are investment cast (wax injection, ceramic shell) which takes different specialized equipment.

i don't think that's what Griffin is meaning....
hmmm, that's unfortunate that they are similar. I've had these in the works for a year or more - along with a matching headlight and air cleaner.
If Griffin thinks there is something funny going on he should have the balls to call me on the phone.

Here is the matching headlight in brass and satin aluminum. It's not up on the website yet (probably this weekend). It uses a 4.5" sealed beam lamp, or we make a halogen 3-lamp unit that will peel the paint off of the car in front of you.

The headlight in chrome. When you buy through me it includes the lamp and mount base of course.

The satin aluminum and polished brass headlight from another view. All of the parts in our new line have the scallops and the grill.

This is the chrome headlight with our tri-lamp halogen unit. Two 75 watt widebeam lamps and one 75 watt narrow beam lamp. It will fit any housing that uses a 4.5" sealed beam.

And chrome for the guys that like that sort of thing. Personally I prefer the satin/brass combo, chrome just doesn't have the character.

I got these pics from the guy that got the VERY FIRST headlight. Ernesto debuted this bike at the Dave Mann Chopperfest and took 2nd place. Robert Pradke did the paint. The tank's got our gas cap too.
I've been experimenting with the finish on the Rapid parts too. This is how I'm finishing them now, with a full polish on the scallops and satin on the recessed parts of the body. It looks really good, it's a bit fussy to do but worth it I think.
