I was giving my girlfreind a ride home the other day and saw this bike. I couldn't believe it knowing how rare those farings are! Someone did a great job on building a clone.

Goose's bike is the one that made me want a KZ-1000 years ago...mine wasn't quite that radical looking, but it WAS a blast to ride! I still rewind and watch the "burnout scene" in that movie about six times everytime I pop that tape into the VCR!!!

"Yeah...he sings...and I tap dance!"

So I guess you're the owner of the Goose bike? Nice work in the reproduction. I think the fairing is definitely an aquired taste. I wouldn't own it, but I give you two thumbs way up for making it happen, because I love the bike and the movie.

contradicted? I said an "aquired taste" because not everyone likes the awkward fairing, myself included. But I still like the bike. I like it for what it is. If it was on a different bike, different color, whatever, it would not be the same. Just like the corvette form "Corvette Summer"; funky looking car if you look at it too hard, but overall still a cool car.

hopefully that makes sense. otherwise you can have my screen name changed to "mcontradictator" . welcome to the forum.

So I showed a pal a sweet emerald green and lime gold panhead with a black frame, told him i did part of the paint on it; and he was like "isn't that, the guy caffienes, bike? you pinstriped it for him? And i was like no, it's the bike he copied. But, ya walked away from it kid, and that's what matters.

Goose, that is one sweet Bobber! Seriously though, That's a great machine and I for one would love to see it rip across the highway!

I guess I see a few similarities but I would not say copied mostly the color but thats me lookin at it.One has a springer other doesnt,Z bars vs. apes white walls vs. blackwalls and we could go on and on and on and on.....The paint design is even different.I think everything has already been done once at least and If in fact someone does copy what ya do that apperantly means you are doin somethin right.I would be proud to ride either bike and let the world know who built it. I know I am the only person to have ever had a red flake Triumph .I know it,I sure am, I know I am:D

By the way if you like your movie lookin bike ride it and ride it some more.
Who cares if we like it and who cares what somebody else built or didnt build as far as a bike is concerned. It dont matter there aint no rules to this shit anyhow. You choose to build this, ride it and enjoy it and remember when ya ride somethin different( chopper/bobber/ralpher/movie bike copy) out in public your always gonna get comments from the arm chair builders.Who cares so just ride on brother...........:) Just remember if people aren't noticing or makin any comments then you are just lookin like the majority.....

nope. i copied the colors to a T. haha. (although not the bike)when i was tryingt to figure out what color i wanted my bike someone posted a picture of that bike on the HAMB and i stole it like i rode it. Although i think he used Organic green maybe? thats what i remember....I copied the scallops design from a tank i saw somewhere too....(but pick 1 of the 1000000 that have the same scallop design) haha.

funny part is i even had a roth war eagle water transter that i bought even before i started the bike that I was going to put on it then i saw it on that bike and decided to give it to dad instead...rats. haha.

'poon. wait till ya see the triumph im going to build....undecidedon paint colors though, black frame with maybe light red dark red flake...or i might just do maroon and creme. not sure yet....
