I bought a Triumph Santee custom frame a while back that was still in the box from the early 80's. The manafactures weren't required to include frame numbers untill late in the 80's and only provided a bill of sale. I got lucky as the owner still had the origonal bill of sale so we had no problem registering it. You could probably contact Santee and get a statement of fact from them that should satisfy your dmv. Normaly the numbers are stamped verticaly on the steering head.

Neck or front engine mount crossover...or wherever you put 'em.

Did not see you at Paso, but I saw the Pickle! You still need the brake parts I ASSume?!

Mike!

Check the insides of the axle plates, and if you can't see them there, check the lower seatpost crossmember, mainly the area to the right of the seatpost.

that's where they were , thanks dudes :) it was for a CHP inspection so Rich , luckily they weren't on the inside of the axel plates , it would have sucked to have to dismantle the bike to find those fuckers . Yes RF I will need those parts too , but for now I am just going brakeless . no biggie :)

Yes. I got tired of stalking Mr. King Wonderful Asshole Larry (he didn't appreciate the flattery) and =mike= is too elusive.

No, well, not really. It "looks" okay, but "leaks" good! I'm gonna pull the tranny out this weekend and have a new one built (that's where the case from Justin comes in handy!). Seein all the bikes at Paso made me sad, but inspired.

I promise I'll get those damn parts to you soon! Promise!

dont sweat it bub . . . as it turns out , the guy I sold my panhead to before I got my bike now , has a brand new , black powder coated , all the bells & whistles front drum brake . He says he doesn't want to run it because he went to a disc up front so guess who is first in line :) booyah .
