I gotta replace my stator and pull the tranny on my '75 shovelhead. I've pulled the tranny once, and I have the HD manual. I'm lookin for tips and short cuts here.

for example. Removing compensator bolt, and clutch basket bolt ( yes I bent back the locking tabs). What's the easiest way. Last time I had an electric impact. That rocked. I have money to buy a cheapy from Harbor frieght, but I am open to other options.

other tips and tricks are welcome

You can buy a chain lock to keep the primary drive from spinning so you can get the bolts loose...or you can make one. just cut a wedge out of hardwood(oak or maple or something). Then wedge the wedge between the primary chain and sprocket. Or, put the bike in gear and have a buddy stand on the rear brake as hard as he can. This sometimes works, sometimes the brake slips.

I use a 3/4" wrench to wedge - not the best, but it works. Also, isn't one of the nuts reverse thread? Be sure to check that.
