Yeah, reduce the size of the picture. I usually just open the picture in the paint program and use the Image tab (Sketch/Skew) option at the top of the window. It lets you pick how much you want to reduce or enlarge the photo. It always works for me.

Have you tried resizing them in Photobucket? Then copy the img link from the bottom box?

1) Are you using the IMG Code in Photobucket?

2) Are you copying the IMG Code and pasting it into your post here?

It's that simple and I've never had a problem with picture size, in fact all of my pictures are large files and I just copy them into Photobucket and do what I said above. I've never had to resize anything. Try it again.

Hey try this....Open the pic in photo bucket, do a left click on top of the pic and go to properties, open proprties, highlite the HTTP address just after "HTTP//" do a copy. (dont copy the http// or it will not work 'cause it will be doubled when you paste.) Close out of it, them go to the JJ thread you want to add it too, click on the add pic icon. This will bring up a window. Heres where you want to do a paste. Past in the address. I use Flickr this way.....Hope that helps. It suck not be able post pics. Ive been there Bruh...

And if that's all to complicated for ya.. just mail the large pictures to yourself.. it will ask "send in original size" or "send in reduced size" ..If you send them in reduced size the pics will have the correct size to use on the board..

Using the 'pic icon' / thumbnail upload system here is what seems to give so many people problems.

It is not needed, nor is being concerned with size or re-sizing if they are already in Photobucket.

Using this process (http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=257912&postcount=3) allows default sizing by Photobucket, and is the easy way to post full-size pix in your post without the icons or thumbnails.

Resizing your pix yourself makes for faster loading into Photobucket, but is not necessary if you set the "veiwed size" option.
