Couldn't have said it better, those are some valuable links. Jason would definitely be a great asset to this board.

Wow!
I wish there was that kind of detailed info on rebuilding an HD motor...

Is there?

Great stuff...

Great Job!
I am also rebuilding my 68 Bonneville. I have been waiting for half a year for my crank and head to come back from M.A.P. in Florida. Just called them yesterday and it is supposed to ship tomorrow. Yeah right...
I will definitely make use of your awesome post when I put everything back together.

This post is GREAT!
The attention to detail in not only the way the work was done, but the way the pics and text were done is outstanding!

Thanks, and i'll be refering to this later this winter when i rebuild mine.

Beautiful, absolutly beautiful.

As an engine builder(cars), I can apreciate the attention to detail he gives a motor.

He's good.

Man those are beutiful pics to help describe the rebuild. Thanks for posting them. I'm in the middle of setting up my garage and it reminded me that I need to fab a sheetmetal clad workbench also...Cheers!
