hey manny I was at ff last week getting some heated grips for my new glide. got to meet the younger guy that part owns it...seemed like a pretty kool guy and gave me a hell of a deal on the grips. The new shop is way smaller than the shop in kent but they are (as I would be) relieved to be out of kent. The only thing that sucks is that it's further away now. I'm in maple valley. It's refreshing to see a shop around here doing bikes in there style compared to the raked out billet show bikes that people are building. I like the bikes from the guys at nash motorcycles down in vancouver. They build some kool stuff.

did you say heated grips? I heard it too. I rubbed my eyes for a second, yet it was still there. I wasn't even aware that such a thing existed.

Welcome, Mr. Warmhands.

i said it...when you leave the house @6am here in seattle in the winter time...your lucky if its above 35 degrees...a fourty mile commute later I have warms hands .. to freeze my ass off all day on a construction site...if that makes me a pussy...so be it...I'd rather be a pussy with warm hands...

if that makes me a pussy...so be it...I'd rather be a pussy with warm hands...Easy killer. Nobody said anything of the sort. It's just a funny concept (to me). No need to defend it. It's yours.

hey brotha local 302 represent....we may be going on strike as of june 1, our contract runs out and the agc are trying to have there way with us...we'll see..as far as the heated grips go I use these hotgrips.com and they are rad and cost half what the stealer charges for there version that sucks and always burns out...I take off tomorrow from seattle down the oregon and california coast to pismo beach for a couple days and then probably on to o side or dago after that..I'll try to check in during the trip...sooo if you see a fat guy broke down on a white e glide... helpa brotha out

Rosalia takes place the weekend of Aug 18th in Rosalia Wa. about 20 minutes south of Spokane. New stuff, show/ party. The same weekend in Tenino is the antique swap meet. That would be the place to go, it is put on by the Evergreen chapter of the AMCA. There are a few little hole in the wall shops on the coast that still have parts and decent people. Dig around and find them, it is worth it. Also, go to a Seattle Cossacks stunt show, talk to them, they ride old stuff.

Hey Flying Eyeball! I'm visiting Seattle as I speak...originally from Alaska. I'm here to fly down to LA area Friday, picking up a motorcycle at the Orange County airport and riding back to the Seattle area leaving Friday about 8-8:30 p.m. .....Any chance you're heading back to Seattle and we can hook up for a Ponch and John side-by-side formation ride! Just kidding about the Ponch & John thing! What's your riding plans?

Hey Flying Eyeball..........

Yup, made it back to Seattle! I flew into OC Airport in Santa Anna (?) jumped on the bike and rode 300 miles before I napped out in a rest area in Chalinga (Sp ?)......Woke at 6:30 a.m. and rode the rest of the 9000 miles to Seattle..Straight! Loved the Shasta Mountain area...matter of fact, ALL of Northern California and into the high country of Oregon...stopped for a few cold ones at Grant's pass. When I cleared LA, I cruised between 70 and 90 mph for a few hundred miles UNMOLESTED by the PD! That was a **bleeping** blast!!!!!!!

Didn't have time for the coast ride...had to be back at work for 8 a.m. Monday. It was GREAT!!!!!!!!!

A bit late on the response but thought I would let ya know bad weather Bob is having his December 19th run up here in Marysville leaving from the longhorn tavern. (Bob is one of the founders or original people that started the oyster run)

Also did ya make the Oyster run? Was a nice day and a ton of bikes.

Damn...these were my first posts here...it's odd how jaded we become.

You know, I have never heard of BWB or his run before, but thanks for the heads up...you might try starting a thread about it when it gets a little closer.

And

Do I know you?? This thread is like a year and a half old.

PM me if this is the case.

And try doing an intro in the other area so people will know who you are.
