Bungs in Back Bone / Top Tube?

Hey all,

Question for all you who know better:

My Frame has mounts for fat bob tanks.
I'm running a sporty w/ tabs that have holes to mount in the sides of the frame.

-Should I drill holes and tap the frame, or should bungs be put in?
-If so, anybody know where to get bungs?
-I see V-Twin / Ted's has a mount kit for that tank, and it looks like there is no bungs in place.
-Anybody have any insight?

Thanks a lot.you can put bungs from bungking.com do not tap the frame.you need the bungs.
