I'm getting ready to toss the motor into my 68 triumph rigid that I just bought back (my very first bike!) I've had other bikes since then but they've all been Harley's and I'm a little rusty on the british rides. I remember before I sold this way back when I was 18 that is puked oil like a siv out of a rubber hose that was on the primary side of the engine. Someone suggested once that it might be a dirty sludge trap but I'm not sure if that's the case.
How do you go about cleaning those on the old Trumps or could it be something else? Any help is always HUGELY appreciated.
I'm new to jockejournal and this is my first post, but I've been cruisin the HAMB for a while. I'm mainly a car guy but have had a few bobbers over the years and with this Triumph look to get my first bike back on the road. Soon as I get a little more established here I have plenty of old motorcycle crap to sell so I can avoid the eGay as much as possible.
