Here's a little info some one gave to me and I'll pass it on, these guys that can afford to go out and buy themselves a new harley and then throw down the "card" for all that new chrome, have been removing these brand new H-D rear calipers, been finding them on ebay, bought some and did the mods myself, simple installation, first remove about half the wide outer side of axle hole, even with the cast piece going towards the juicy end. I used hacksaw and then hand filed it down to smooth out, keep that piece you cut off for inner spacer, shape to fit other side towards wheel bearing, I then welded a steel plate to inside of the rigid for brake stay, adjust wheel it slides easily. went down to o'reilly's auto parts and bought fittings and 3/16" solid brake line, ran from brake switch tee to caliper with a bend near caliper for flex and give on adjustment.note: you need to double flare ends on solid brake lines after installing the fittings you're gonna use! see pic's
