I was one of the guys that were going to be out there as part of this team with an Indian powered streamliner:
www.ironwigwam.com (http://www.ironwigwam.com)
But we never made it out there due to transport bus issues among other things, Maybe next year. I do know there was a Triumph crew out there from this board but I cannot speak for them although they looked pretty serious.

There is a 4 valve indian down under,
it ran at a salt lake this part of the world,
the bike also runs strong at phillip Island,
this bikle is over 80 cubes,
I think it broke a land speed record on the salt,
158 MPH,
i hope my belt drive hangs in there,

That would be a record for an unstreamlined Indian. I'd like to know more about it. I do know those guys down under are really serious about their Indians.

It Was A World record for Unstreamemlined.
I just got off the phone to the Engine builder.
It does not mention it in a Write up about my,
Belt drive,
Oh well,

So let's here more on this bike. I'm pretty well connected with the Indian guys worldwide and I haven't heard anything. I know there's supposedly an 8-valve big base engine down there somewhere but it's an engine only...

It went to lake a salt lake in South Australia,
Prior to that Record it Appeared in classic road racing events,

most of the bike in this 1/4 mile dash had a ,
Fiairing fitted,
I HAD not,
But does it make a Difference ?
Is it a advantage over 400 Metres to have a fairing?
Up to 90 MPH some told me it does not matter,
Next time i will have one fitted,
But my bike is lighter without it,,
So depending on head wind etc, Who knows.

Ok, I talked to some guys who are on the inside on that 158 MPH bike. It was build by Lindsay Urquart who does most of the building for Peter Arundel down there including the repo "Vindian" Not much Indian was still on the bike but he did it nontheless!

If you are talking about us (ADayintheSun.net)...it will be out before the summer is over. It's stuck in Post-Production due to money/time issues.
