A friend of mine in high school was a hill climber. A freak for it actually… And he finally talked me into going to a regional event one winter weekend in 1992. The scene was a touch decadent and a might depraved. Drunken and half naked bodies everywhere, sounds of cycle motors wrapped too tightly, type-a personalities at every corner, etc… It was all too easy to sink into and before I knew it, I had mounted my pal’s sportster and attempted the hill. I made it about half way up before I went sideways, fell off, and rolled to the bottom.

The whole experience was about on par with the above video from Idaho in 1956.
